Green roof

Soozy and I have been quite industrious this morning.
We both did a bit of work (Soozy did some design for college and I caught up on a bit of admin)
Then we barrowed and stacked a delivery of logs into the log shed.
This is the log shed roof which we decided would be a green roof.
We more or less just leave it to its own devices and it does just fine. The local birds use the dead grass at the start of spring for their nests, but it's coming back to life now with some of the wild flowers Soozy scattered coming into bloom.
