Roadtrip

We had a great day, starting with brunch at Slipbarinn in Reykjavík. Then we drove the long way through Vatnsleysuströnd to Keflavík, where we visited the new viking museum, where they show off the viking boat Íslendingur that sailed from Reykjavík to New York in the year 2000. It is a beautiful museum. The night we spent at a motel in Ásbrú the old US base. It is still quite a depressing place with lots of buildings empty. The motel is very nice though with a great breakfast.
