Spring Gentian, a true Alpine Flower.

This is the brightest of all the blue gentians, the first one to flower after the snow has melted. I had a wonderful short walk up quite high today before the next weather front comes in. The Tetras Lyre or Black Grouse -video from one of our local naturalists here - were displaying but not close enough to get a good photo with my little Lumix which is all I have left to play with, the Olympus is in hospital!
