Hirsute in May

I know that there's Movember for moustaches grown in November but I'm not sure if there's a title for beards grown in May.

I've been ill for one week whilst Mr E was working away. He came home this morning carrying a dozen red roses and a beard! To say I was surprised, is an understatement. For as long as we've been together, I've always said that I'm not keen on beards but after the initial shock, it's growing on me (not literally of course). Now there's all the accoutrements to buy, to keep the 'thing' under control. I knew there'd have to be a gadget involved, as he loves them.

The flowers were obviously a sweetener but wonderful all the same.

Another day stuck indoors but I haven't coughed as much, so things are looking up.

PS. Don't tell him that I actually quite like his new distinguished look.
