Finch

Almost 600 km's of driving today 6 hrs of driving for 3 hrs of business. Doesn't sound like reasonable, but it was worth it! I saw many many great images from UK/West Cumbria and Finland with a theme Beautiful Light. I was so thrilled that after getting back to home in the evening I took a short trip to islands of Lake Saimaa for own image of beautiful light. Again some strange instinct lead me to go to the right location...this male finch came very close to me while I was laying on the rock and enjoying of the low evening sun.
