Memories galore

Today was the day when I finally sorted through hundreds...or maybe thousands of slides that have been in a sealed container in the garage for the past sixteen years or so. With each move the slide box has been on the "to do later" list!
With the help of a light box I sifted through my student nurse days, travels in my old VW Beetle all around SA,Botswana and Mozambique, my overseas trips with friends, my wedding day, children, pets, family gatherings.
I have kept some (too many ..I will sort through them again) and hopefully I'll get around to scanning them and adding them to my vast collection of digital images!
I feel good...now I have to persuade hubby to do likewise with his early days collection!
