Message from the past

Ripping out old plaster walls, revealed the work-man's signature and date on a piece of wood.
"A Oswald 1958"

It must have been when the house was first refitted. There was another bit written on the old plaster nearby; same name "June 1958".

When we were originally renovating the house 5 years ago, I found a signature from when the house was built in 1891.
