qu'est que c'est?!

C'est le most glorious day of the whole year in Victoria! C'est The Annual Garden Tour!!

It's the equivalent of the annual Sail Past for garden folk on the Pacific Rim.

Ten gardens ... at least eight to DIE FOR ........

This one was a particular scorcher. Not only a good three acres dipsy dooddled down from the road onto Cadboro Bay, but a cedar clad mansion sat embedded in the rock half way down, over looking a heated mineral pool!

A dog lives there too. We saw its dog mansion clad in cedar shingles around the back. And its pewter water bowl.

We shot off to mine after this one. We'd had quite enough, thank you. (mine's rather a bit more fun)
