The end of the triumphant first night sees soprano Hye-Youn Lee takes a bow after her powerful performance as the eponymous character in Puccini's tragic opera, impressively staged by the Scottish Opera at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre.

It's also the first time I've been to the opera.
