Chessel's Court

The Early Years Education conference that I have been involved with has come to a close now.
Today delegates were offered a tour of The Old Town, in which we looked at the legacy of Patrick Geddes, and the gardens and nursery schools that were created on The Royal Mile to support a healthy life style for young children. The tour was well received, and I learnt quite a lot doing the research for it.
The photo shows Chessel's Court, where there was a famous outdoor kindergarten and Geddes created children's gardens and playgrounds.
