Year 2, Day 111 - Hello!

Spent most of the day digging over the patch that I am going to seed with grass and pulled weeds out of one of the veggie patches. I hate digging but it's good for you! I guess... The previous owners were great gardeners - I'm not!

I have some kind of alpine flower growing against the fence and they looked nice in the sun so was trying for a kind of group shot when I saw a few ants crawling over the flowers. They were going right down into the flower - drinking the nectar?

Took loads of shots but this was probably the best - even then it's not great! I'm still learning how to take shots outside when everything is moving about! It was a bit breezy and the ant was moving fairly quickly!
