Our East Grinstead forefathers in 1953 may well have concerned at the death, in very short succession of Mr and Mrs Blount of Imberhorne Manor. Within 12 months the building firm of A J Wait & Co had begun the construction of their new 'Imberhorne Estate' you can follow this link to the Felbridge Local History website for the full history.

Fast forward to 2014 and Crest Nicholson have built, against a great deal of public opposition, a new housing estate on the remains of the former Imberhorne Estate.
