Stormy weather in Porthcawl.

Saturday lunchtime was very windy. I checked the tide forecast for Porthcawl, and high tide was 16:15. After cooking a chilli for our Eurovision party guests this evening I drove down to Porthcawl and found a wild and very windy seafront.

The picture is of the waves crashing onto one side of the seawall in front of the lighthouse (the wave obliterates the lighthouse in the picture).

Afterwards I walked down the seafront, but there was so much spray the lens was continuously getting splattered.

After having the cobwebs well and truly blown away, back home to get the cocktail ingredients ready for Gill & Dave who were coming to dinner before Eurovision. Had a great evening, and a good laugh at Eurovision, especially the milk-maid churning entry from Poland. Amy and Lewis (G&D's children) were the stars of the evening though.
