Misty Layers

This morning was a most dramatic sunrise of which I took many images, however I thought you would all be getting sick of seeing my sunrises and have opted for this. As I look down on the village in the morning at this time of year there seems to be layer upon layer with the early morning mistiness in between right out to the mountains in a distance. I do not find it easy to capture but here is an attempt at it.
My visitors left mid morning to wend their way back to the top half of the North Island. They had so enjoyed the beautiful weekend weather as they had nothing but rain on their trip around the south which was a shame. Glad I was able to offer some sunny hospitality and sightseeing.
