A High Flyer!

The wee lad has definitely made his mark!!

Today Albert was scheduled for his Cambridge Young Learners of English Exam, something we've recently been skipping missing Arabic for in order to cover all the modules.

Three hours of intensive Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking! Now its over and only the results to wait for.....but he felt very confident! I was his amanuensis and scribed for him, and he gave me a hard job keeping up in some places!!

Poor lad went from the Exam to his swimming lesson where they were running the heats for the trophies. The winners had to keep competing until there was one sure winner.....and guess who that was!!! Non other than Albert....the speediest thing in speedo trunks!!!! He really is fast and fearless!!!

Off then to Islamic where he was confronted with another exam, but he took it all in his stride, and ended up being nominated Student of the Term!!

After such a gruelling day there were two happy people who wended their separate ways home to prepare for whatever tomorrow may bring!

I am so thrilled with the way his confidence has just blossomed and how mature he is becoming.......he's no longer the 'apprehensive little boy' I met when we first started out! His self motivation is definitely his greatest asset!

I'm not sure I want this fun loving cute kid to turn into anything but a fun loving cute adult!!!

Can't believe he'll be 12 in a weeks time!! Better remind him I loooove cake!!!! specially chocolate!!
