The Road Home

Today we went to a clinic at Addenbrookes hospital, for an appointment at 0930 hours and finally left for home just before 1930 hours. Problems arose because my notes could not be found and a search for them had to be made before any consultation and tests could be conducted. The notes eventually arrived at about 1130 hours, by which time I had missed my slot and was fitted in at various times between other patients during the rest of the day. The good news is that everything was positive and progress is being made.

Today’s picture is of the B1383, (just after Stump’s Cross) which forms part of the route home and runs through our village, taken from the passenger seat, through the windscreen of the car, on the journey home; Mrs GOG was driving. After the long day of waiting the movement of the journey home was a pleasant relief.
