An old-fashioned (I'm sure there's an App to do this now on your iPad) way of telling your future - blowing off the seed heads and seeing how many were left. As accurate as any other spurious method of trying to tell the future, although this one also spreads weed seeds about, so not to be done in your garden if you don't want the weeds. Maybe they worked, Maybe they didn't.
