Big sky over Warwickshire

Today is cycling day and my friend Peter and I rode out to Shipston, a small town between Stratford and Oxford.

The main attraction apart from the wonderful countryside was Mrs Brown's Tearoom where we had the most delicious dry-cured bacon sandwiches.

We narrowly missed several soakings from big storm clouds which we passed close to.

The views were spectacular and this shot taken with the little Sony NEX-6 typifies the wonderful scenery and skies. This view is in a south-easterly direction down towards the Cotswolds which can be seen rising on the right side of the picture. Shipston is nestled just at the base of the Cotswolds. Total distance ridden = 42 miles.
