Flower Project: Day 2

Day 2: I bought organic potting mix and petunia seeds from the Home Depot. I've never planted anything before, so I'm not totally sure if I've done it correctly, but I filled the pot with the potting mix leaving about an inch unfilled at the top. Then I made a hole in the middle of the potting mix, sprinkled the petunia seeds in the hole, and covered the hole with the rest of the potting mix. I finished the flower day by water the mix. I think I may have watered it too much, because water started leaking from the drainage hole in the bottom of the flower pot.
