Earplugs!

My Dad is a jazz musician, and today we got our first opportunity to take both kids to hear him play. They were the only kids in the audience, and they both behaved impeccably - they really did us proud.

About 4 songs in my son began crying and I had to take him out briefly. It turned out the music had been too loud, so we improvised some earplugs for him out of tissues, and with that he was able to enjoy the rest of the gig :)
