Watching Shadow in Light

After work I drove up to the moor; the contrasts in the colours, sunlight and shadow, promised an interesting wander, along with the constant threat of a soaking!

As I headed South, looking East towards Leeds the darkness was spreading and the atmosphere crackled. I could see the ribbons of rain, but the way the low light hit the clouds and ground was just delicious and I carried on.

Over the top of the moor, the West was blue and light and as I looked back, the sun had lit up a field where a cow was also watching the show.

Downward back North, I accidentally startled a flock of ducks who took to flight toward the low sun.

I escaped dry and it was a good walk :o)
