Storm Cloud

After a partially successful sojourn in McArthur Glen we went home the pretty way, by the Bathgate hills.

I was watching the development of this anvil cloud among the fluffy cumulous against the blue sky; back home we sat in sunshine and an hour or so later the thunder rumbled and the rain came.

This evening attended the season's last concert at Heriot Watt, all French music, beginning with Ravel's Bolero, five other pieces and concluding with Faure's Requiem, with soloists Hannah Wilkinson and John Cooper. Thoroughly enjoyable.
