Can you see it?
Mr E had a rare day off and we had to look after our Grandson again.
We went out exploring and discovered a hidden bridge in the thick vegetation, which he loved. To be honest, it didn't lead anywhere but that doesn't matter when you're only 2. Grampy was trying to point to the black clouds and the curtains of rain that were about to drench us but you can't hurry a small boy when he's on an adventure.
We did manage to get him back to the car without getting soaked and it was wonderful to finally get some fresh air.
It is Minnie's first birthday tomorrow and we needed to get her a present, so we dashed into town and to the new toy shop. We chose a sand pit/paddling pool and as we were paying for it, who should walk in but my Daughter and Minnie! Luckily she is too young to know what was going on but next year we may not be as lucky. Fingers crossed for some good weather now.
For those of you that have been following the saga of Brodie and the lump on her ear, I have good news. It is definitely shrinking! It seems to be about half the size that it was. What a relief!
