My Dad in Jerusalem.

He died on this date in 2006. Drove him and my Mum up to South Shields from Gloucester on the Saturday (13 May) so they could spend a week with my Aunty at Souter Point Lighthouse keeper and engineer cottages.
Drove all the way back to Gloucester, round trip of nearly 600 miles, and the next day they all went to church and my father came out and had a heart attack.
He was a great Dad, memories are always of going places with him, pictures, parks and beach, him fixing his car and doing up my bikes for me.
He was immensely proud of his Blackwatch service during WW2 and at the end of the war he was transferred to the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders and served in Palestine 1946-47.
