barbed wire sort of a day..

Behind these gates locked in a warehouse is the last two remaining Outeniqua choo-tjoe locomotives. Affirmative shoppers broke into this shed and stole all the brass and copper. There is nothing left.
The train ran between George and Knysna for many years and was one of the few remaining narrow-gauge steam trains still in operation until a flood damaged the line. See photos here...
