Neonicotinoid

What next?

Greenpeace have just announced that they carried out a test of garden & DIY center plants. Turned out they are for the most part contaminated with various insecticides including Neonicotinoids which have thankfully be banned for the moment in the EU for agriculture. As your average DIY primrose doesn't count as agriculture/food, it can be sprayed till the cows come home.

Our bedding plants are still in the greenhouse waiting for the "Ice Saint's days" to pass. Wonder if I shouldn't have banished them to the "Giftmobile" (mobile disposal unit for specially dangerous/poisonous things) we have here for things like old paint, batteries etc!
