Looking back down the pass

Did a there and back crossing of the Trough of Bowland in North Lancashire this afternoon.

The easterly crossing was really great -- a following wind helped. Going down the other side (the view in the Blip) was HUGE, cornering at 35 mph. The return climb westwards was really hard with the serious headwind, funneled through the pass, and even the descent back to the car was hairy because of the wind.

But what is life without some adventure!
