Today's the day ....................... to listen

We've spent the whole day listening to every kind of folk music - solo artists, duos, groups, whole bands playing guitars, ukuleles, banjos, fiddles, flutes, whistles, drums - and singing every sort of folk song. In fact we're a bit folked out if truth be told!

But it's been a wonderful day and we have heard some truly talented musicians. If I had to choose my favourites they would be - this girl here, Zoe Bestel ( Will has sketched her and written a bit more about her), Karine Polwart who was top of the bill at the main concert in the evening and the Swedish band Svanevit.

Just ready to crawl into the sleeping bag now .......................
