Bedraggled

It's a dull, gray, misty, murky morning here. I wanted to photograph the last of the daffodils -- they are just about past their prime, but still so lovely. But not today. The light is horrid and everything is soaking wet and sulking.

This dandelion clock is doing its best to hold its fluffy head up, but I think it's a losing battle. In fact, I know it is. The lawn mowing crew has just arrived, and I think a decapitation has just occurred.
