Mrs Coot!

The nest made by the coot has to be one of the most untidy to look at but it serves the purpose as it floats on the surface of the pond providing a place of relative safety for egg sitting.
I must have been in Queen's Park before L this morning - I captured the mum on the nest and she captured what was inside ... here
