Come-bye

I dread it when the dogs stop running and both stare in the same direction. It may seem like an innocent action to anyone else but this pose to me means that they've probably spotted something in the distance and they're deciding how long to leave it before they give chase.
They are big dogs and can cover an awful lot of ground in a matter of seconds, leaving me standing like a lunatic, shouting myself hoarse. It's not that they're naughty....I think they just don't hear me once they see something to chase. Perhaps I'm deluded and they're laughing as they run off!
I did some furniture renovation today, as I felt much better. The weather was beautiful which meant I was able to work on the patio.
