The appeal of reflections

I have noticed that I have a liking for reflections. I often take reflections, whether in the water, a puddle, a window or mirror. I think it's like a gateway into another world. [Kurt Vonnegut's character Kilgore Trout called mirrors [i]leaks[/i] because they are a way that other dimensions leak into our own.

This leak appears on my beloved espresso machine and reflects nothing more sinister than my kitchen table. Unless an alien life form has shape shifted into a table. I'll stop now... it is Thursday, I could never get the hang of Thursdays.
