The Torriano Bar, Kentish Town, London

It's always an honour when someone takes you to their local and makes you feel like a VIP. Sadly The Torriano Bar has been sold and is soon to become another North London 'gastro pub'.

Met 'Tosh' tonight and we went to a charity gig in support of Shelter in the uber trendy 'Record Club' in Campden Town. Laura Mvula & Lianne La Havas were billed as the star turns. Paloma Faith was there too.

Shingai Shoniwa of The Noisettes also joined them on stage for a belter of a performance.

After the gig we retired to Tosh's local. I snapped quite a few of the regulars as we enjoyed a few beers. What a great bunch of characters.

This is my personal favourite shot of the set. It features Laz and the old jaded chandelier.

Just seemed to sum the place up perfectly.
