For The Love Of Luburnum

Day 133 of 365. I alway know when the very beginning of early summer starts by the state of my garden. The beech hedge comes out in full leaf and the luburnum trees come out in full, heavy gloriously yellow flower. This beautiful tree is one of the most feared of the poison plants (and produces the most searches of all of them) but it doesn't justify it's reputation. Many people who remove it from their gardens leave other more dangerous plants in its' place. I just love the way for a few brief weeks it makes our garden a rather bucolic enclosed wonderland!
