Mandala

I've been busy with hook and yarn again.

Apparently a mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the Universe. However, the word seems to have been hi-jacked by the crochet community and has come to mean any circular piece of work in a variety of colours. They're very popular at the moment.

I don't usually follow trends but these have quite caught my imagination.
