The now annual Bluebell Blip, by Drumsmittal on the Black Isle.

I hurtle down the hill by these in the morning, on cycle to work days. It's a more leisurely and appreciative passing on the uphill return journey. This is a wide (fisheye) view of a small section of the stretch they're in. They do seem to be exceptional this year. Possibly because the tree leaves haven't yet fully opened and put the area in to more shade.

Windy day. Would have moved closer to the flowers, to make use of that fish-eye effect, but everything was blowing about, and they'd have just been a blur.

At work, an ancient PC that some Students had been using, seems to be on it's way out. Giving problems. Managed to get things sorted by installing the necessary software on an even older one! That in itself was an achievement, especially as the floppy disk drive (remember them... or have you ever heard of those?) had packed up. It was 21 years old, after all. A bit of a trip down memory lane working with MS-DOS 5 - creating and editing batch files etc.

The sad thing is, I remember when that machine was bought, as I originally took it out the box and set it up. And as it was brand new, the latest and greatest, it was fantastic... for a while. Sadder still, that was before any of said Students were born! Their parents were probably at College then...
