My First Ever Photo of a Mandarin Duck

There was a mandarin duck (male) at the lake today. The first time I've seen one there. It was floating along between a male and female mallard, all 3 of them quite happy. I couldn't see a female mandarin anywhere. According to the RSPB website there are 2,300 breeding pairs of mandarins in the UK, in comparison to 61,000-146,000 mallards - so that probably explains why it's a rare sight for me.
