Feeling better today, the chills have receded though I’m still coughing and wincing at a sore throat. It will pass.

We went to a Scarecrow Fayre in Oving (pronounced ooving) this afternoon. Weather gorgeous, scarecrows fun but not photogenic. Maypole dancing was enchanting once it got going, after getting tied into a knot which required the girls letting go of their ribbons and two grown ups unravelling the mess. But again, too busy to be photogenic. So once more I’m resorting to our garden for a blip. I do try to vary it and not do flowers every day, but the countryside and gardens are such an amazing riot of colour, it’s just not possible to ignore it all. Another favourite blue-purple shades in these alliums, tallest one about 30inches.
