First damselfly of 2014

This is my first damselfly this year in the garden, showing summer is definitely on its way. It's a female Azure Damselfly, Coenagrion puella, and it landed on one of my planted up containers, thoughtfully providing a lovely background from one of the rich blue glazed pots. It allowed me one shot, then took off and vanished into neighbouring gardens. It's not a brilliant photo, but not bad given the time I had to react.
