We see no ships....
....but we do see an approaching dog. Guess which direction it was coming from! This was taken at the Trig on White Horse Hill, the highest point in Oxfordshire. It is situated on the embankment of an iron age hill fort and the 360 degree view is pretty spectacular.
We've managed 24 hours with the four dogs together under one roof. No more incidents, thank goodness.
Early this morning, we took them all up to Uffington and White Horse Hill. We walked along to the Gallops and had our usual flask of coffee. The dogs were quite sensible and didn't go wild, as usual. After a good drink of water, they sat around conserving energy. Brodie and the wee terrier rolled around on their backs in the long thick grass, as only dogs do (sheer joy to watch).
I did some furniture renovation whilst they slept this afternoon and then this evening back out again, once it had cooled down. I got some lovely pictures of them running and jumping through the wheat fields. This always makes me laugh, when you periodically see their heads pop up over the top.
