Deer at the Cemetery

We had some surprise visitors at my mother's cemetery today. Edward and I had just finished a visit to my mother's grave and were just starting to leave when we noticed a small group of white-tailed deer in the cemetery. They were eating new shoots and violets in the grass and I caught this one munching on some pansies someone had left on a gravestone. Have seen rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks there but this was a first time for deer. The cemetery is in the west end of the city of Toronto but also beside the Humber river which the deer probably followed and then into the cemetery.

Edward has a picture of the four deer in his blip today!
