The Ned

Today I walked up The Ned in the Taylor Pass, it was a fundraiser for a local primary school on a private station. Normally you can't access this walk and the only time the public can is each year for this fundraiser! It took us 4.75 hours to the top and back. This shot is the view from the top looking out over Cloudy Bay which is where we had lunch at the trig station. It was a great day but now I have very sore knees and a number of blisters on my toes. I much preferred the upwards trip rather than the downwards trip. Have a look on the map for where The Ned is. Wonder if I will be able to even get out of bed in the morning! Lol! :)
