Sad Headlines...

This is surely terrible news for Kenya.
Whether an over-reaction or not this will be a devastating blow for the Kenyan economy which is so heavily reliant on tourism.
I've been there so many times before both as a child and an adult and can't wait to take my own boys some day too.
Its such a fantastic place with so much to experience there, to read news like this is upsetting.

I'd love for my own boys to enjoy lions and elephants etc. in their natural environment, while they still can.
A sad fact is that at the current ivory poaching rate there will be no free roaming elephants by 2025!
Sad also to read about the gruesome discovery of one of Kenya's most famous wild elephants, 'Mountain Bull', killed last week by poachers for his tusks :-(
You can read more of his story here.

I really hope Kenya can recover from these latest events and that such an amazing nation can once again be in the headlines for all of the right and positive reasons they so deserve.
