Peace Pole at The Pales

The Pales is a Quaker meeting house set on a hillside above Llandegley. The present meeting house is thought to have been built in 1717. It is a quiet and peaceful place and a fitting location for a Peace Pole of which there are more than 200,000 worldwide. The Pales Peace Pole carries the message MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH in English, Welsh, French and Japanese.

I had an inspiring time here for a couple of hours with a huge array of subjects - I could have stayed all day.
