Spitfire

This car has not moved from here for probably 30 years.
It belongs to my brother and he took it to my parents' house while he got organised after moving house; I'm not sure the restoration is going to happen any time soon.

Back then, if you were into mainstream British sports cars, you were either an MG or a Triumph fan. I thought the Triumphs had more character (and a bit more speed and excitement). I loved it whenever I was taken out in this car; it went much better than a Mark III Spitfire should, and it certainly influenced the car choices I made in the following years.
