Rhododendron

A relaxed morning waking up in our own time, Jess was sleeping over at a friend's place. Time to play the guitar and read the morning papers and follow a different rhythm.
Home on the late side last night. King Lear was marvellous, a very moving performance by Simon Russell Beale, and also as Edgar son of Gloucester a phenomenal showing from Tom Brooke, a young actor I didn't know before.
When we got home there was a red full moon just rising in the east behind the Great Wood. I made the effort to get my camera out and take a few shots but with the limitations of my camera it didn't amount to anything good enough to blip.

Later we had breakfast in the garden where the rhododendron is just coming into flower. Life is good.
