The News At Ten

I’m pleased to report
a birthday. Mine.
I’m into double figures now.
Growing up.

But the news at ten
is much the same
as the news at nine.
No sign, yet, of ageing.
No grey hairs. Some wrinkles.
(But I’ve had those since birth).

Summary: I’m fine.
