From eBay to Uig Bay

This morning we swapped the tandem (and yesterday's fabulous blue skies) for a pedalo to cruise the waters of Uig Bay. The vessel was a prop in the new Tom Cruise film Edge of tomorrow, due to be released later this month. It features in a scene on the Seine in Paris. Apparently the last woman before me to take a ride in the pedalo was Emily Blunt. Our host bought it from eBay after filming finished last year.

Exercise today: pedalo-ing in the morning, followed by a walk as far as possible without crossing the river to Crowlista in the afternoon.
