Exploring light and shade

Today's art exercise that I set myself, was all about shadows and light....it was so lovely sitting at my desk at lunchtime with my sketch pad and 6b pencil.
My sketch was not as good as the real thing (which was this sculpture), but it was fun all the same.
Lovely way to spend some downtime...
