My family friend Andrew has been in town with his friend this weekend so we met up for some drinks and dinner last night. Ticked two things off the list that I'd been wanting to do; had a drink at the Biergarten at The Standard and went for a quick stroll down the Highline.

The Biergarten was really good and somewhere I will definitely return. The Highline was nice but the sun was setting and a cold breeze had kicked in so I was more pre-occupied with getting warm. Will go back to see it in the summer tho I imagine. I haven't spent much time exploring the Meatpacking District but it's got a really nice feel to it, lots of nice looking bars and restaurants. And not too far from work.
